Maintenance Electrician

Must be a certified Journeyman or Master Electrician.
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have good mechanical skills as well as electrical skills.
ROLE
Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe and accident-free environment, including understanding of the lockout/tagout program, Confined Space Entry Program, and Asbestos Training.
Understand the operation of CNC machinery and/or assembly equipment including the tooling, test equipment, fixturing and automation.
Test electrical system wiring, equipment and electrical devices using such tools as ohmmeters, or voltmeters to ensure functionality and safety are present.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control problems and make recommendations to improve.
Ability to identify malfunctioning systems and devices of hazards and defects and makes needed adjustments or repairs to bring back to compliance.
Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures, bringing them back to compliance.
Prepare/Maintain PM Records, Work Orders, Priority Reports and Vendor Records.
Ensure a harassment free, nondiscriminatory environment through fair and consistent treatment.
Display professional conduct, treating others with respect and good communication.
Implementation and building of new equipment as needed for requirement changes and technology changes.
Help with project implementations, including representing the Maintenance Team in meetings.
Work with other Support Staff in training employees on any process changes.
REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:
o Possess a Cheerful and Hospitable Attitude, with the ability to work in Teams, and participate in Meetings.
o Must have no physical or mental limitations, which would require a hazard while working on or around fast-moving equipment.
o Must successfully complete any training necessary to perform tasks.
o Willingness and ability to function within, maintain, and respect an environment of confidentiality.
o Can understand PLC Logic.
o Must be able to work overtime as required, including weekend work.
o Must be able to troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
o Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in the Facility as well as Production areas.
Examples include Electrical lighting panels/Breaker panels, Machine electrical panels, and motor control centers.
o Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time with occasional position changes.
o Work requires remaining stationary, typing, working with a monitor, writing, lifting, stooping, moving about the office, and positioning self to reach or file.
o Ability to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts.
o Must comply with established work rules and applicable Ausco Products, LLC policies and procedures.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF JOB:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications required.
Strong working knowledge of job site safety.
Willingness for additional company sponsored classroom training.
Ability to reference electrical national electrical code.
